The orchestrated music, modern design and aesthetics all trump the crap from the 80's and beyond.

I am actually in the process of re-watching all of the X-Files seasons. My wife has never seen them altogether.

The music is cool during the opening sequence but the visuals get old, chapter advance fixes that
