Everything is so damn awesome. I dunno what y'all's problem is. It's one of the coolest songs I've heard this year
42 minutes of Trent talking to himself. He also plays some tracks that didn't make the album.

Nine Inch Nails
Watch us live tonight from the Made In America Festival in Philly, starting at 9:20EST: http://www.youtube.com/user/MadeInAm...einamericafest (and catch our friends Queens of the Stone Age at 7:30)
They need to keep Somewhat Damaged in every setlist.
So, I've always considered myself a casual NIN fan. Never been super into them. That said, I think this new album is fucking incredible. I'm also not quite understanding the hate for "Everything." I think it fits in fine with the rest of the album.
EDIT* Then again, considering what I've read in this thread, I more or less expected it to be one of the worst songs ever composed.

Vinyl arrived yesterday.
Went to Amoeba for the raffle last night. Swung by around 9:15 intending to go into the store, do some shopping casually, then just grab a few raffle tickets shortly after 10.
There was a line around two sides of the building at 9:15. Said fuck it, cursed NIN fans, went to get some expensive drinks and food at some place on Hollywood Blvd.
As we were leaving realized it was only 10:45 and that Amoeba was open til 11. On a lark (despite the overwhelming dissent from my group that there was no chance this would work) decided to call the store and see if there were still raffle tickets left.
They answered on the first ring and said "Sure, if you can get here in 10 minutes." Fortunately, I used to drive getaway from time to time. BUSTED that shit zig-zag style all the way from the Chinese Theatre to Amoeba in like nine minutes, pulled up to the curb like The Italian Job and had the people with me run out so I could find a parking spot.
Ended up finding a spot RIGHT around the corner on Ivar, got out and ran, found the lady with the raffle tickets was standing right there, got mine instantly and had to call my compatriots to tell them where to come.
In short--my god did I ever kick the shit out of things last night. Just out of curiosity though--we pulled ticket numbers in the low 1500s. Did anyone go to any of the other 4 locations? Curious how many raffle tickets there are out there.
I'm borderline convinced that for once I will actually win a contest strictly because of how fucking gangsterific my driving was.

Amoeba handed out about 500-600 tixs last night. Had about 1000 total to distribute. So those peeps standing in line just wasted their time as usual. Out of that batch they are picking 4 pairs of winners. I had thought they said they were handing them out 10-12 last night and the stored closed at 11. Wonder if the rep just stayed in front w/ the store closed cause the KROQ and Cool Haus vans were still out there.

Although, the last time I saw them was in a similar situation (Bowery Ballroom in NY... 550 capacity venue...) and that was fucking amazing. So I'm sure this will be up there as well.
