The ones with the footage trent released took like 18 months. This one is just stupid. Theres too many cooks in the kitchen for this project. Since nobody is making money and there is no set deadline, they just dicked around for an extra 2 years i think.

I just prefer hard copies, and unfortunately the entertainment industry wants to move towards a cloud server distribution for future things (games/movies for sure).

After some issues with Itunes and having to repay for something I already bought on Itunes, I really try to avoid buying digital copies of work. I'll buy your tshirt trent, I'll pay to see a show, but sell me a fucking hard copy of your album, please. I don't trust internets.

Trent isnt even distributing it through itunes, so its not even that terrible. And did you have problems when Ghosts was released and you downloaded the first disc online before the physical one was out? Did that download suck? Or what abotu when he put The Slip out on nin.com, was that some insane hassle to download?

I dont even own an ipod or use itunes to manage my music. I do have an iphone, but theres maybe 20 songs I have put on it so far, just so I have something random to listen to while driving.

Also, I dont think Trent wanted to have to fork over the money that has to be spent on packaging and distribution of a cd. I am sure the album will be out on cd as thats a much more significant release than this one.

Mugwog, you do realize iTunes has a "Purchased" section where you can re-download things you already bought, right? This was a lifesaver when my iPod was stolen and I didn't have a lot of newer purchases already backed up.

Problem with this section was I checked it (I rarely purchase mp3s...) and the two songs I've bought in the past: Woman (MSTRKRFT Remix) and Breathe - they weren't there, and I had to rebuy them. Since that scenario I prefer a hard copy.

And I didn't really care for Ghost, The Slip is alright. There's a reason Trent let people have that shit for free.
