go to a music website and you might see a coachella banner. it lists the the headliners for each days. have they always done that? i think people are right, this aint a good selling coachella.
virgin records in sf also has an entire stand decorated like the coachella poster full of coachella artist cds.
they've advertised in previous years though. advertising isn't a sign of weakness.
The new issue of Urb has a full page ad with the original poster.

I work at an Online Advertising Agency, and this is definitely a GOOD THING. It means they have money (which keeps festi's going), and they want to spread the good word...
