    Default Best route to festival?

It's weird.. Sometimes I've had to wait an hour just to go like that couple of miles and other times, it's felt like we just drove right in. Anyways.. Is there a back route that's better or anything? I'm coming from Palm Springs.

this is the type of thing you find out for yourself after years of attendance and don't tell anyone.

You guys should stop joking with this guy about a back route in the festival. Everyone knows there is only one way in and out of the festival grounds. No shortcuts.

Its like the Infinite Monkey Theorem, if you put X amount of monkeys in a room with a typewriter and ask them to give you Shakespeare 99% of them will fling their shit at you while the other 1% will masturbate in the corner.

i think it's just what time you arrive...then again, in my experiences i've never had to wait more than 10 minutes or so.

I only started in '99...since you started in 1832 aren't you familiar with some old secret wagon train route?
    '99-'11...

    TOP SECRET
    Quickest Way to Coachella Festival

-First you need to plan the route out with mapquest or any other program and then just go the exact opposite way but make sure to do this on a bicycle.

-Another option will also include mapping it out but then you throw the map away because it’s useless (make sure to recycle) buy a jetpack, do acid start your jetpack up and head for INDIO and look for the massive crowd or listen for the great music! Just look out for the planes and my helicopter on the way... (make sure to fly low) A true vet has a shortcut embrace your surroundings or you will be stuck in traffic. A Porter pottie shortcut also exists maybe we should reveal that one.......

If you get a jetpack and acid you would still want to go to Coachella?

Then you should seriously know all the shortcuts by now. Any retard looking at a map could figure out a shortcut.

Let's hope that GoogleMaps is non-operational for the next week so no one can figure out any alternate routes... like HWY. 111

Why would anyone post here without providing useful information? The internet has provided us all new potential... Some are using it to prove how lame and useless they can be (and likely always have been), while dangling their "secret" knowledge just a mouse-click away. Others still have the character to provide legitimate answers to legitimate questions...

I hope you have fun on that one. Make sure to catch it in Palm Springs so you get the full benefit of the short cut.
Youth, you son of a bitch, where did you go?

Again, this is not helpful. I hope you never make it to the festival, I hope you choke on Cheez-Its and die. But that's not relevant or helpful.

I know Hwy 111 can suck too, but hey, just offering whatever help I can, for those who can't read maps or don't have a crystal ball.

I've used the 111, but it seems whatever route I use, the last couple miles are always a bitch, and it seemed like they always routed the traffic so that you HAD to go on Monroe or some shit.
