ok i always say that this comes from third party sources that are aorund the biz plus my buddy works for tm so here is some info:

right now they are selling around 1200-1500 3 days passes a day. they sold around 25000 the first 2 days they were on sale.

they are expecting the show to sell out by mid feb/early march. only because of the rage factor and how the 3 day passes are cheaper then buying one day passes from brokers to sundays show.

they dont expect friday singles to sell out and only would if another act is named to the bill that can sell the rest of the tickets for gv.

attendance will be 50,000 per day max.

for me personally i think they are clsoe but u know how sometimes bs is just bs so we'll see. so far what i see......... get your tix now!!

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has cut off ticket sales for its Saturday and Sunday dates at the Empire Polo Club.

But the promoters aren’t saying tickets for April 28 and 29 are “officially sold out.” Many three-day passes are available, and some daily tickets could be made available at the door at show time.

“This is really a way of ensuring that everyone who wants to come for all three days is able to purchase a three-day pass,” said publicist Marcee Rondan.

Tickets for the Saturday date, headlined by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Sunday, with the reunited Rage Against the Machine topping the bill, were cut off late Sunday night, Rondan said. There were earlier reports of tickets not being available on Ticketmaster.com.

Friday single-day tickets are still available.

Ticket numbers still were being tallied Monday, but Rondon said promoters expect to keep attendance similar to last year’s record of 60,000 people a day.

Three-day tickets are $249, plus charity and service fees. Single-day tickets are $85 or $90 at the door.

Tickets have been sold at the door after they’ve been declared sold out at past Coachellas.

But Rondon said, “It’s always once everyone is out there figuring out how crowded it is. (Then) you can evaluate, can more people be accommodated? So people should stay tuned a little closer to show date.”"

I WOULDNT. YOU MIGHT WIND UP PAYING A BUTT LOAD OF MONEY AND GETTING A FAKE TICKET. ITS HAPPENED BEFORE. YOU CAN BUY THE 3 DAY PASS AND SELL THE DAYS YOU DONT WANT FOR FACE VALUE. I'm in the same boat as you, except just one three day pass. But most of my friends don't have tickets yet, but some of them are rich enough to not have to worry about it, lucky them.

Having been to both, the Glastonbury site is about ten times the size of Coachella - it takes at least 20 minutes to walk from one side of Glastonbury to the other. Away from the stages Glastonbury is much less crowded than Coachella.

At Fuji Rock it is a hell of alot more crowded because it is held in the mountains of Niigata. So everything is very narrow...The open polo fields are great for this sort of thing.

yeah im the type where overload of info is better than no info. im planning everything from the trip itself, to the tickets, the hotel, the expenses, the weather etc. u have to. ive learned that from experience. once i get there, hey its all good but i like to have a idea on how to avoid as mnay ehadaches even though some u cant. i still have to get one more set of tix so im monitoring the process. if i get anything else, ill pass it hope u would as well.

hmmm.......of the sunday tickets I have here....the ones I bought on thursday presale are (section)GA119, (row)GA1 and in the low (seat)900's......the ones I got saturday (right around 1pm pst) are GA121, GA9 and in the low 1000's.........dont know if this bit of sleuth work really puts it much into perspective or not. It probaly fills up by seat, then row, then section......so you would need to know how many seats in a row and how many rows in a section, and THEN see what the current tickets are to get an idea at where we are sales wise.

Id say hurry though probaly.............
