I didn't go to LA, but Irvine only half the grass was filled. And I didn't see the Terrance but Loge was like 80% and Orchestra looked like 70%.

I only saw one scalper but I got my tickets on ebay the week before 2 LOG tickets for $61. Those tickets are $59.95 each.

In Chula Vista, it definitely wasn't as packed on the lawn as I thought it'd be. But that's probably because I'm a cheapass and had to get lawn while everyone else bought orchestra and loge.

That being said, SOAD are huge in Europe and are headlining the Download Festival this Saturday.
I'm a huge SOAD fan and personally, I can see them doing the Muse thing and headlining before a big DJ act like Daft Punk for next year.

Well regardless if they do the Muse thing or not, Muse was billed as the top headliner that day...SOAD will never be billed at the top of a day for Coachella.

When it comes to Coachella they're just outcasts. They would have to really want to play the festival and accept sub/third line and a meager paycheck compared to what they are used to.
