I never imagined Rage would ever play Coachella. Don't get me wrong, i'm a huge fan, but they never seemed like a 'Coachella' band, even though they have played before.

I'm a huge System of a Down fan, and have known them since before their first album. In fact, they went to my high school, i've personally met them a bunch of times, and have seen them live more than 12 times. But I laugh at the thought of them ever playing Coachella.

Is it possible for them to ever play at a Coachella? Maybe a few years down the line? Especially since they are now sorta 'broken up', just like Rage had been?
Maybe a reunion Coachella show in a few years? any thoughts on this?

Yep, they dont dissapoint. Their "status" has been liek this for almost a year, after Ozzfest they said they are not going to do anything.

They never said they were breaking up, they just wanted to stop for a while and do their own things/projects. Serj has his record label and I know Daron has lots of other things he is involved in. You try and keep going after touring/recording nonstop for like 8 years.

They didn't break up...they are just all taking a break from each other. But they will return, according to Serj(the singer). Sadly, the reason he and Daron got in an arguement, is that Daron wanted to sing more. Which is ridiculous, cause all the songs that he sings in suck (i.e. the two new albums) he should just focus on his guitar playing. i've heard that they are all doing there own thing right now... all i know is that the drummer has opened an online comic book store. which is hella funny. leave it to the drummer to open a comic book store.

I caught them in late '05 w/Mars Volta.... Good show, pretty solid live, and they played for a good 2 hours!!.. I'd catch them again when they get back to touring..

i want to see slipknot. My friend saw them in San Diego and came back with stiches on his cheek! at the end of the show, the drummer threw the sticks so he tried to get them and some guy head butted him on the cheek and opened his skin.

Rage broke up over creative differences that stemmed as far back as Evil Empire among other things. System needs the break so they can come back to the band with a fresh perspective.

Slipknot is broken up, you will never get a chance to see them again. What do you thinkt he live cd was for that came out a couple years ago which was deemed "their last tour"?

Yeah, you know it not just Corey in Stone Sour, 2 other members of Slipknot are in the band.

Blame the sound guys, I have had perfect sound at Long Beach Arena so its possible, but blame him no tth band. And yeah I was there too for Taste of Chaos, fun times. I left to see NIN right after that show ended.
