Keane will finish a Latin American tour in Mexico on the 27th of April, perhaps they could swing up to So Cal for Saturday or Sunday.

How about Tom Waits?!
I'm hoping that we hear something regarding additions in the next week or two. Last year, both Massive Attack and Daft Punk were added on Feb. 7. That makes me optimistic that we'll hear something soon. Last year there were 47 artists/bands on Saturday and 49 on Sunday. This year, so far, there are 33 artists/bands on Friday, 40 on Saturday and 38 on Sunday. This leads me to believe that bands will definitely be added, and it will likely be more than just 1 or 2, however some will probably be incredibly small acts.
The impression that I've gotten is that with the move to three days they also decided to go for longer sets. We're not going to get to near 47 bands per day.
I would be shocked if we got anybody real big - say first row or two on the poster - and I'd also be surprised it there were more than 10 bands added counting of Montreal if that's a real add.
Architecture in Helsinki would be good.
they aren't super popular, but they've got potential.
they're a lot of fun.
I agree that we probably will not be at about 47 bands a day. Probably just up to 40 bands a day, which is fine. Longer sets would be neat. However, I do think that we will have at least one or two BIG acts added. I think GV wants Friday to sell out too. It would really make the move to 3 days even more worth the move to 3 days. So I think they are at least trying to find an appealing act to add on Friday. I personally think Friday already has a crowded 1st and 2nd row, with possible conflicts I want to avoid... But that day is not selling as well as the other two, and GV would probably want to fix that. The impression that I've gotten is that with the move to three days they also decided to go for longer sets. We're not going to get to near 47 bands per day.

Did you guys see Modest Mouse being voted to play ATP the next weekend? So was Mogwai. I thought that was neat. Not that it has anything to do with Coachella.
Dustin Kensrue was just on Letterman. I saw him at this tiny ass bar about 6 months ago. He's great and would probably be a good fit for an early slot.
I think we will get one big band and 2 smallish bands.
I really hope the Raconteurs are on that list... I would like to see Jack White just show up at Willie Nelsons set!
Anyone know if the Foo Fighters could be it??
I also think that The Fugees are a possibility!
This is wishful thinking most of it, but that would be great in my mind!
(the best would be if Phish magically appeared for a set, but never Coachella)
I'm holding out hope for:
Modest Mouse (just to see Johnny Marr live)
Rilo Kiley
The Dresden Dolls
Muse
and also, I like the Killers... >>;
Cold War Kids! God, I hope they get added.
Incubus is a good possibility as well. Like really high. Espesh if the Police Reunion happens. They (Brandon-lead vocalist, Mike-guitar) started a rumor saying that wherever the Police would be playing they would for sure be opening. They spoke with Stewart or something.
Why not throw Eluvium on the bill? He will already be touring with Explosions.
Too bad that Mono booked a bunch of LA dates on the same weekend as Coachella way in advance. They couldn't have let Goldenvoice know of their desire to be in SoCal in late April?
Hell yes for Muse. Just saw them twice in Australia. Fucking awesome. Also QOTSA love to see them live. Tool would make me wet my pants. Just saw them twice too. Arcitechture in Helsinki are awesome fun also. NIN!!!
Muse is not playing I know someone at their record label and they said they wont be booked.
I'm living in Whistler right now and The Police are rehearsing in North Van. All the talk is that after the Grammy's this will be their kick off show.
Justin Timberlake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At some point in time a man switches from "I'll have what he's having" to "I'll have what I'm having."
What about Bright Eyes? New album out soon....?
Since the topic specifies "realistically", if 1 big and 2 smallish acts get added, they should be:
Barry Manilow
Ratt
Yngwie Malmsteen
I was hoping Tom Waits would be an announced act,but I doubt highly he would be an add.I've seen him (on the Big Time Tour) and he is fantastic live.
