The local talent you want at Coachella?

What are some of the local bands (local as in from the city you reside in) that people would like to hear play on the first day -- the day GoldenVoice is not announcing the line-up for and is free for entry. There are so many gems all over the country and the continent that people should hear! Share!

For me there are two bands that live in the city just next to my town that are absolutely fantastic. They are called Azeda Booth (check out their songs)... they put on one of the best live shows I have ever seen... and Chad Vangaalen (listen)... both so good.

Hope you guys can check them out... and I am interested to hear the local bands you enjoy!

I guess it is just that then... a rumour. Regardless, what is some of the local talent you would like to hear at this year's festival? Although I'm sure none of the mentioned artists will actually play... I am interested to hear what other people are listening to besides the more well known bands.

My local band for '08 would be my brother's band Meche or a friend of mine's band Keyser Soze, or an up-and-coming local band, Cirque de Sound. Last but not least, a band whom isn't local but a good band nonetheless, Car Engines VS. Jet Engines.
