Shade

sorry if this has ben asked before but is there Shade inside the venue and if so how much is there thanks.

In the past (all of this will be based on the past) three of teh stages have been tents. This is the smallest one, the Gobi:


They can fill up depending on who is playing there, especially as the day goes on.

The eating areas also have had tents with picnic tables set up.

There have been booths like the Virgin Record store and KROQ tent that have had some shade.

The AT&T Blue Room last year was a very chilling place; a dark tent with computers and air conditioning.

Sometimes you can stand behind/underneath a tall person.

There is shade but it is mostly not shaded.

Oh, here we go. This was posted last year. And, again, is just what the setup was last year, things may be somewhat different for 2008.

That pic's gotta be from earlier than last year, since last year The Do Lab had the organic village, not the white geo dome you see near the center above. That's not to pick nits, but to say that there is progressively more shade every year. There was actually more in '07 than what you see in that pic. I assume there will be even more in '08 if the trend continues. In other words, no worries. There will be plenty of areas to get out of the sun, though it may not be near the band you want to see...

Oh, here we go. This was posted last year. And, again, is just what the setup was last year, things may be somewhat different for 2008.

I love that pic...I posted it on another site and was asked to remove it from my sig...I guess it was too in there face but I love it!!!
