    Default Bands paying tribute to other bands...

    I like the seemingly recent trend of artists paying tribute to other artists by mentioning them in their songs. Satisfies the music nerd in me that bands I like like other bands I like.

    Post here songs that mention other artists.

    I will start:

    Daft Punk - Teachers
    LCD Soundsystem - Daft Punk is Playing at my House
    CSS - Let's Make Love (and Listen to Death From Above)
    Vampire Weekend - Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa

    Really?... Damn.

    I suppose that the numerous Jeff Buckley tributes count:

    PJ Harvey - Memphis
    Rufus Wainwright - Memphis Skyline
    Chris Cornell - Wave Goodbye
    The Frames - Neath the Beeches
    Upcoming Shows:
    * Dillon Francis + Anamanaguchi -- December 28th
