    Default Hardcore...

    Plenty of hardcore music scenes.
No, I'm not talking about this new trendy bullshit.
I mean original hardcore. I've been getting into it a lot lately.
The main bands I've taken a liking to is Sick of it All and Discharge.

Can someone offer me some more good original hardcore albums?

I listened to sick of it all in the late 90s. Have no idea of any new groups.

Thanks JustSteve. Gotta love the Unsane playing over the house speakers before the reunion show.

    Tragedy - Vengeance (d-beat/hardcore punk)

Circle Jerks - Group Sex (classic hardcore/punk album)

Career Suicide - Anthology (hardcore/punk/thrash with members of Fucked Up)

Robert Plant would probably be on there somewhere too.

Suprefan & Blackswan pretty much covered everything... but I'll throw in Warzone for good measure. I remember this one time seeing Powerhouse & Triceratops at Berkeley Square and the whole night I was standing next to Tim Armstrong from Rancid, but I didn't notice this until I turned to leave. He's short.

Circle Jerks' "Group Sex" is in my all time top 10 albums. It's what got me into punk rock. All 16 minutes of it. It's so f'ing good.

Is Propagandhi hardcore? I kind of doubt it. I think they're supposed to be progressive something. Propagandhi is awesome anyway.
