I seems almost hypocritical of me to make this thread, considering Warped are skipping over Vancouver this year... but here it goes anyways...

They will soon also be officialy anouncing a Saskatoon show, to "replace" the Vancouver show. Apparently, they couldn't book Vancouver a date when they needed too... so Saskatoon is a reasonable replacement? Huh.Fri 6/20 Pomona, CA

Oh well, with the line up this year, it may be no big loss...
First Official 2008 Band Anouncements (this came about a month or so ago...)
Also, it appears Kevin Lyman is very aware about people complaining about the lack of "punk" on this years warped tour. So he posted this the other day...We will continue to announce bands over the next few months. Gym Class Heroes The Briggs The Academy Is... The Bronx Reliant K Every Time I Die From First to Last The Street Dogs Reel Big Fish Norma Jean We the Kings Devil Wears Prada Pierce the Veil The Color Fred 3Oh!3 The Lordz Katy Perry Shwayze
Im betting all of those bands listed above will only be playing the Cali shows anyways though. Fuck Warped Tour. I am not driving 5 hours down to Gorge just to Reel Big Fish and The Briggs. In order to pull me down there this year, they are gonna need some acts like Rancid, The Aggrolites, Nekromantix or perhaps get The Vandals, GBH and The Bouncing Souls to play the Gorge show too.Happy Monday all,
I of course have been reading your comments and am always amused when people say "Warped tour is not punk anymore!" and, "Where are all the punk bands?" Well before you get all wound up on the next band I'm announcing I want you to go to your ipods or if you are real punk your 7-inch collection and grab these bands: The Briggs, Street Dogs, Bouncing Souls, The Bronx, Against Me, and St. Alvias Cartel. Play them all in a row and see if you are tried of running in circles. Then throw in some Pennywise, GBH, The Vandals since they will also be playing on many shows this summer and see if you have collapsed in a little sweaty heap in your moms living room. There will be more, but that's just a taste of some of the "punk," bands you will be seeing this summer.
Just thought I would pass along the information.![]()
