After Parties

Hey I am new to the Coachella scene and was curious to know what after parties were like in past years, and what is in store for this year. Also, What are the best places to cool down after a hot day in the sun, bars, pubs, pools, etc...?

Afterparties not in the campground are pretty few... most people retreat to rest up for the next day. There are some small parties that happen here and there at rental houses, but theyre not exactly public.

As for local post-festival food/bars/nightlife, it's basically a wasteland.

last year there were a few parties at the campgrounds but we were with such a large crew it was sortof just us...but after a day full of heat, drugs, and booze sweating out ur poors it was just the leftover hillucinations that kept us going...except after RAGE! then it was raging

There will be plenty of partying going on in the campgrounds. Especially Thursday and Friday nights.

last year ed banger had their after party in LA the monday after the fest at echoplex

I saw pics online from I believe 2005, some guys brought a portable pool, Im guessing they towed it behind their trailer and assembled it there...the water truck at coachella filled it up for them...It was deep enough to jump into off the motorhome.

why hello there feather, it's whip..anyways, i was thinking..and maybe we want to be in section G, because remeber how that was the area where dane and them were set up last year and it was always going down in that area, whereas section M was in the outskirts..but also, it's so good being near the showers. what do you think?

im driving from long beach thursday night, and prob arriving around 7 or 8? at least when its dark there so i wont be too hot putting up my campsite extravaganza. you?

my flight lands in palm springs at 11am. we gotta get a car then beer and such then off to the grounds.....so prob by 3 i am guessing

So Sweet is having a party...they have a Coachella party on their schedule but haven't posted the flyer yet. It looks like they are still recovering from SXSW.
