In 2004, I saw Phantom Planet instead of Kraftwerk. I also should have seen Scissor Sisters instead of Tool in '06.
Damn I was dumb.

Last year was my first year, and i almost went in 2006. I didn't really have the money, and didn't recognize most of the names so i decieded to save my money. In hindsight i should have gone. I now know that it really doesn't matter if i only recognize 20% of the names the first time i look at the poster, because i get to discover new music. I was stupid.
been going since 2002 and in all those time slots the only regret I have was missing Daft Punk. Granted I was sick the entire festival that year, but still, I shoulda stuck it out.
I missed Lupe Fiasco because a friend lost his sunday ticket. left it sitting in the grass. We had to search for someone who was selling one. I got a second chance though I'm going to see him soon.
-missing Kraftwerk in 2004
-attempting to see Madonna instead of hauling ass to outdoor immediately after YYYs for Mogwai
-attempting to see Ladytron in 2006 (lost my good main stage spot)
-not seeing The Chemical Brothers in 2005
-wasting time watching Bright Eyes in 2005
-getting my phone stolen last year
-camping out to get up front for Air and then having to leave 10 minutes into their set from exhaustion
-having to give up my spot against the back rail for Daft Punk during "One More Time" because I was dehydrated and blacking out. apparently my magic cookie had enough "magic" for four or more frequent users
Leaving LCD a few minutes early is a bit of a regret, but unavoidable. Damn diarrhea.
6/13-16 NXNE
not really catching depeche mode
not securing a front spot for franz ferdinand
umm, trying to see madonna at all

My only other regret was wasting any time at Happy Mondays before going over to the Teddybears last year.
I am a dumbass for not going in 2004, 2005, and 2006 just because my friends didn't want to go. Especially since in 2004, a coworker was ready to drive down with me. Only regrets last year are that I stayed in the campgrounds kind of late each day instead of checking out the earlier sets.
i was taking a nap in that shaded patch that was in front of the main stage, when i woke, depeche were playing, thats why i sorta caught them, i remember liking it but i was groggy
the same issue for franz, i woke and they were abotu to start! i couldnt work my way through!

- Leaving Daft Punk when my buddy said he wanted to get some food.
- Witnessing the train wreck that was Happy Mondays.
- Going to see The Nightwatchman vs. whoever the hell he was on against. Travis maybe ?
the nightwatchman is so cheesy

not going in 06 is my regret. also last year missing alot of the rapture and gogol bordello.
Collapsing out of exhaustion, rather than going to see Gogol Bordello, as I had planned to do all day. In my defense, I didn't not expect to dance my fucking ass off at Stephen Marley as I did earlier in the day when the sun was at its peak.
Bloc Party
Missing MMJ for Ladytron.
Missing Sigur Ros for Ladytron.
Missing The Decembrists.

I wish I had gone to New Pornographers. I saw a little bit of Travis, Nightwatchman and Peter, Bjorn and John. Totally dissapointed by PB and J. MSTRKRFT was awesome but some chick puked at our feet so me and the group I was with left. Travis was pretty good.
Edit: Jarvis Cocker was awesome

Only going one day in 2004 picking the Cure over Kraftwerk
Only seeing part of Lucent Dossier's 2006 show
Waiting for Air to play in 2007 because they were so good in 2005 (dod I get the years right?)
Not going before 2004 because I was too much of a arrogant aging punk rocker who didn't "do festivals" - especially in the desert - heh
I lost count of time and missed TOSCA Fuck!
