I don't remember them being there, but who knows. I'm flighty at times.
I'm not sure. I'm not a big fan, so I wouldn't have noticed anyway.
If they were not always there...good catch.
Yes, they've been on the lineup since the beginning.

The Shout Out Louds are listed in the same spot they were for 2005. Guess their fanbase hasn't really grown.

rogue wave has had 3 pretty damn good albums...they are way too low when you consider new hype bands like vampire weekend and Sia (ugh!) are so high
This seems to happen once in a while -- a band that could easily play a few hours later appears early just because their hype phase has passed.
In 2005 Sloan played the Gobi (I think)at like 1pm. The tent was packed and they put on a perfect show as usual.. Granted -- it's the smallest tent but I'm sure they could have filled it or maybe even the Mojave at 4pm.
Anyway, I'm in complete agreement that Rogue Wave are way too low given how rich their sound (particularly live) is, but I'm happy if they play early. It forces me to get to the venue in time to explore bands/art I might not have had time for.
Just a reminded, being small on the poster doesn't always mean playing early in the day in a tent. Last year on Saturday, Girl Talk was tiny and he closed the Gobi.
Also, Boot's Rileys The Coup was really small, and he played the Outdoor stage midday. So you never know.
rogue on craig ferguson (my fav late late night show) the blond girl with angel wings is a friend o' mine!
