Holy shit they killed it, who was that?
Holy shit they killed it, who was that?
that was such a funny scene
a steady flow of people from the campsite to the dome, everyone's basically a walking zombie at this point, just standing in a big circle swaying back and forth to dubstep at 2am
it ruled
Sam XL from Pure Filth Soundsystem/The Professionals LA (the soundguy for the dome) and DLX from Smog LA/Surefire closed out the night on Saturday night.

haha saturday night in the dome was hilarious to me.. basically it was a zombie party for everybody who was still rolling or tripping, plus the rest of us .. i vividly remember my mind telling me to dance to dubstep (which i now have a profound appreciation/interest for) and my body simply telling me "no"
i remember the security guy shining his light on people who were sitting/lying down, i'm assuming it was to make sure they weren't dead
there were too many zombies hogging all the speaker room.
I loooove the grimey basssss!
WOOOOOMMMMMMMMMp!
saturday was the night of the living dead at the polo fields
It was so awesome having the Dome so late. I was there until about 3:45 I think because I called my friend I was camping with like 10 minutes before I left. That was dope, just still definitely rolling, wanting to dance and being able to. Excellent.
The Dome was rocking on Saturday...but I think it was the loudest on Thursday, the first night...the Bassweight felt like it was going to shake the Porta-Potties over!
Rumor has it that the Bass was so heavy on Thursday, Kevan Wilkins the Coachella Production Manager, actually levitated out of his bed and began to float around the festival grounds like Peter Pan!

Yeah, me too! I loved dubstep before this and I remember thinking it would be the perfect late night style to chill out to. Half the people on this board were crying No not dubstep! Ewwww! You can't dance to it! I agree it's not really your standard dance music and is better for Chillin', but NOW I feel exactly the same as you; "I have a profound appreciation/interest for dancing to dubstep". Or rather learning how to dance to dubstep. (Not just bob my head)
So my mission this year is to learn how to dance dubstep style, so I can bust out some funky ass shit on all you all. Hopefully, they bring it back for at least 1 night.
Anybody have advice on where to learn that style of dance. Other than the couple of "meh" you tube videos I saw. THANKS!
try ketamine.
