I for one think Snow Patrol would be an excellent addition. They are not on the line-up. It would make sense for them to be added though... I mean, if Silversun Pickups is going after the Snow Patrol tour finishes, why can't the both of them go? (Silversun Pickups is opening for them, by the way).

They have a concert in LA at a pretty big venue in March. If they were gonna be added it would be after the event sells out or is over.

I'll be there as well as their gig in San Diego the day after. I may be wrong, but I think both are pretty much thisclose to being sold out if they aren't fully sold out.

Also those are LiveNation gigs and Coachella's a GoldenVoice event. Does that factor in to line-up decisions, I wonder?

How did I not see this thread? I created a Snow Patrol thread on the OLD message board because I wanted them to come. It doesn't look like they're stopping where I live in Phoenix this tour (WHY???), so I'd like them to hit Coachella as well.

That's only beacuse Christian music is forever trying to sound more like pop music so as to be more widely accepted. The lyrics make all the difference really.

seriously, they do sound they could tour with Jars of Clay. They're just so boring, especially that "lie here" song. that's all the song does is "lie there" for four minutes. i think if snow patrol was added it would be the last show i'd want to see.
