vhs are very good, saw them at troubadour in LA and Ive seen their dj sets as well which are good. Bring on the Comets is a good album and they put on a good show. Worth at least wondering in to check out, you may stay for the rest of the set.

I saw them at a bar here in Tucson a few months back. They had good energy and will probably be fun to see again, but I'm not looking forward to them so much that I'd choose them over another act who I wanted to see.

I really like VHS or Beta. I was going to go see them when they came to Vancouver a couple months ago. But I was broke.

Beta was better. But, you know...just keep following the crowd, right?

Many would argue that Beta was far superior to VHS.

    I love it:
    One question.
    Three answers to said question.
Five somewhat irrelevant responses (four of which are repetitive) about outmoded technology.
And now one somewhat irrelevant response regarding the responses so far.

Anyway, I haven't seen VHS or Beta yet but plan to finally based upon Bring on the Comets, which is dancy and bordering on power pop at the same time. Night on Fire is a bit darker and more mid-80's to me.

I don't see anyone yet on the line-up quite like them and I've read a lot of great reviews on their live show so I will definitely be attending. I'm all about the power hook and Saturday seems to be lacking in this so I'm not expecting a conflict.
