Because they toured venues like Echoplex and Santos Party House last year.

I find it highly unlikely that Tom Tom Club and Talking Heads would perform 2 completely different sets since 2 of the main members are in each band. Another thing is that David Byrne stated that he had no desire to get back together and he doesn't need the money 2 years ago.

Of course some of the bands are highly rumored, and some are pretty much a lock to play. Do you think that the creator of the fake poster

a) magically thought up some of the artists to include

or

b) read the Coachella message board and other sites that rely on the Coachella message board to learn about these confirmations/rumors/probable artists


Bonus question: do you think that an image of that fake poster should be posted in as many threads as possible by people who don't seem to be able to navigate the Coachella Message Board?

Because they toured venues like Echoplex and Santos Party House last year.

Throbbing Gristle (in 2009) were playing small venues that year too and they were still first on the 3rd line. The size of the venues you play isn't everything.

I'd expect Tom Tom Club to be on last line of larger font (4th line) or at least the 5th line.

my friend's band was asked to play and they are still talking with goldenvoice (theyre a small band...nothing to get too excited over) so it sounds like they are still working on the line up and making confirmations.
