    Default Concert/Festival Films

I just got done watching Glastonbury (the 2006 film) last night, I enjoyed it. A bit stretched out but ok. Ive seen/own coachella. Two of my favorite concert films are The Last Waltz (the band) and Stop Making Sense (talking heads).

    what are yours, any suggestions?

    Afterglow Live DVD

Quality stuff. Even though she said she was fighting a cold during the performance.

i love concert/music dvds. Usually just buy these anymore.
I today just ordered MOby's dvd, THe Prodigy dvd, and The Chemical Brothers Single collection on dvd. Should have saved my money for Coachella but i'm stupid like that. I didn't like the Glastonbury movie at all, but the performances were good.

Really looking forward to The new Scorsesse rolling stones concert film

    Anyway, my favorites are:

    Woodstock
    Coachella
Bjork Live At the Royal Opera House is fantastic

i'll have to add others as I think of them
Then I will hold you down and spit her percolations all over you until you're as greasy as the day she regrets pushing your big fat ass out her big fat cunt.

The Led Zeppelin DVD is excellent. Much better than the new AC/DC one.

The Ozzfest DVD does the same thing the Coachella DVD does.
Stops midway in a performance and interviews a band or starts a band and stops them completely.

But the Sounds of the Underground tour DVD is a great one.
Here are some of my favorites:
    1. Elegies (Machine Head)
    2. Killadelphia (Lamb of God)
    3. Trilogy (The Cure)
    4. Symphony For The Devil (The Cure)
    5. Coachella

George Harrison and Friends in Bangladesh is fucking awesome. Notable performances by Ringo, Eric Clapton, Ravi Shankar and others....

Harrison and Clapton play while my guitar gently weeps and it's awesome...made more interesting cause Clapton wants to bone Harrison's wife.

Harrison looks terrible in this footage. Like the 1960's had aged him 100 years...

I didn't want a DVD player when they first came out because it was just one more addictive expense in my eyes. You can only watch a movie so many times, and renting them can become a pain in the ass. But, on the other hand, I can watch music shit forever, and swore the only things I'd buy were music vids, concert footage, and music related DVDs. I'm up to 60+ now,(Let's hear it for addictions!) working on 61+ if I can find that Prodigy one you just mentioned! My favorites? Well, I have my own copy of The Song Remains the Same, (16 times when it first came out in theaters.) so it's #1. I believe I have every Pink Floyd DVD, so I'll group them all into #2. #3 would be The History of Rock n' Roll, which I've yet to see all of the 5 discs in any one sitting. And, without going through the whole inventory here, let's just say that right now, Coachella is like a pacifier until April.
Its like the Infinite Monkey Theorem, if you put X amount of monkeys in a room with a typewriter and ask them to give you Shakespeare 99% of them will fling their shit at you while the other 1% will masturbate in the corner.

This is a good one, although whoever did the editing on this must have serious ADD. Seriously, no shot in this lasts for more than 2 seconds. Kind of irritating, but the music is great.

Your the first person who's I've ever heard mention that Live at Pompeii performance. It's a great one. I enjoyed watching how they filmed the actual performance.
    Whiskey Sour

    2 oz blended whiskey
    Juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 tsp powdered sugar
    1 cherry
    1/2 slice lemon

Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

Yeah, I only saw it recently myself because I never really heard people talk about it before. But after seeing it I feel like its a sadly overlooked film. Maybe its because it was before they recorded their hits "hits" and are thus not included in the live portion but I love the material they play. Especially "Echoes" and "Careful With That Axe Eugene."

also Trilogy is damn good to just for the sheer fact that they played Pornography in its entirety.
