Marathon watching seasons 1-5 since the final episode, finally finished season 5 yesterday. I feel lucky that I didn't have to wait a week before watching the next episode after cliffhangers. Very wonderful writing and even the cinematography, especially in the episode "Salud," was incredible. I hope Vince Gilligan goes on to another project soon.

I know a lot may disagree with me, but I feel that is the best way to watch this show. Season 5 (both halves) was the only season I watched as it was aired. Seasons 1-4 I binged. While I loved every bit of season 5, I found that I had more of a thrilling experience during seasons 1-4, which is unfortunate being that season 5 is so intense. I think it is due to having to wait a week between each episode.

So i only have one unanswered question about this show. Why did above and beyond make a song called walter white?
"How long will this last, this delicious feeling of being alive, of having penetrated the veil which hides beauty and the wonders of celestial vistas? It doesn't matter, as there can be nothing but gratitude for even a glimpse of what exists for those who can become open to it."

I guess it was for charity, which is ok, but having an actual gravestone was really lame.

The gravestone was the point. People donated BECAUSE there was to be a burial and gravesite. Perhaps you think they should have just donated to charity for just the joke of having a grave stone, knowing that there wouldn't actually be one for real. I'll bet that fundraiser would have netted Taco Bell feast after costs.

If I had a recently-deceased family member buried next to the Walter White grave stone, I would be pissed.

I mean, have you ever been to Pere Lachaise to see Jim Morrison's grave? Tourists are weirdly disrespectful of the fact that it's a cemetery, and that's for an actual real person not a fictional character.

Anyone who crowds space otherwise useful to living people with their dead relatives isn't really deserving of much deference.

I hope people aren't touchy about my grave under any circumstance. I've stated a few times that I want people to piss on my grave. In dead. Who cares

When I first heard about it, I thought the donation money would come from admission to the ceremony. Not a gravestone. I think the actual gravestone is lame no matter what.

'Breaking Bad' spinoff 'Better Call Saul' could be 'mix of prequel and sequel,' says star Bob Odenkirk
The new show may cover the sleazy lawyer's history both before and after the 'Breaking Bad'

Bob Odenkirk as Saul Goodman in 'Breaking Bad.' The actor spoke about the planned spin-off.
"Breaking Bad" fans may have ended, but spin-off "Beter Call Saul" is going full steam ahead.

Bob Odenkirk, who played the lovably sleazy lawyer Saul Goodman on the AMC show, talked about what's in the works for the show in an interview with IGN.

The new show may be a 'mix of prequel and sequel,' Odenkirk said.

"Well. I've talked to Vince [Gilligan] and Peter [Gould], who are writing and creating the series, about this and I've said that a lot of people do want to see what happens next to Saul," Odenkirk said. "So, I don't know what they're going to do. I know they've talked about a prequel, but they've also talked to me about a sequel, and they've also talked to me about a mix of prequel and sequel."

Odenkirk wants to make sure the new show is distinct from the recently-wrapped "Breaking Bad."

"I told Peter and Vince, right away I said, 'Look man, let us make this fresh for everyone.' So that right away, in the first five minutes, every viewer goes 'Oh, this isn't 'Breaking Bad,' this is its own thing.'" Odenkirk added. "And I think they feel the same exact way. There might be a cameo here or there, but I don't know. We're going to do a new show."

Sweet. I hope really does manage that Cinnabon in Omaha at least for a while.
I can already envision some sort of series finale where he either a coup de grace or happily ever matched with an introduction to Walt. (although if the series does well in its own right they may scrap the BB tie ins)

Marathon on AMC is making my day. A couple of observations:

    1. Enough with the hungry kids/abused dogs ads.

    2. The Twins are the worst part of the entire series. They are cliched buttfarts and they even walk away from an explosion without flinching.
