This show = WIN.
Sooo good. It has excellent story. Good character development so far. I think the directing and photography is awesome. And Bryan Cranston (I had to look up his name) is killing it so far.

AMC ON-Demand HD FTW
Catching episode 3 tomorrow. My favorite part of the series so far is still the part where he flips out and tells the car wash manager "**** you and your eyebrows"
This show has filled the void in my Sunday night vacated by The Sopranos.

I've tuned in . . .
10-4 see you in 43 minutes. We can dish about the show.
I can sense it's potential but have yet to truly connect.
So far, I give it a whatever.
I'm coming in with little background, so my initial impressions may be incomplete.
I just find the characters a bit cliche and uninteresting. Cliche in their obvious attempt to make them "quirky," and uninteresting in that they don't seem to have a whole lot of depth despite the intense situations they are attempting to deal with. Things just seem a bit predictable.
I'll give it another try next week.
I understand your position. You dont have any attachment to the characters or understand any of the subplots.
I can break it down for you simply, this might help, but doesnt do the show any justice:
Chemistry teacher is diagnosed with incurable lung cancer. Doesnt want to die weakly. He wants to go out on his own terms. He doesnt want to leave is family in debt so he decides to cook crystal meth. He teams up with an ex student turned meth head when they cross paths after a DEA raid (his brother in law is on the DEA meth task force). They cook the best meth ever then said ex-student involves some unsavory characters that would put our "hero's" life at risk. One out of two unsavory characters is alive after a confrontation and taken prisoner. Then our "hero" must come to grips with the fact that he must kill this man. All this while attempting to maintain his "family life". He goes through with the killing and disposes of the body while his cooking partner and him have since split apart. His brother in law DEA has linked evidence from "the confrontation with unsavory characters" to him. The family is still attempting to deal with his life threatening illness.
This show is frickin' incredible. Dexter was a little bit of a letdown this season, this might make up for it.
I'm a couple episodes behind though, so I don't want to read through the whole thread yet.
Bathtub bit = maybe the darkest thing I've ever seen on television.
EDIT...no, the end of episode 3 was even darker, just not as disgusting.
<still enjoying the show.... now that walt is bald and going balls out crazy (episode #6) THIS is what the first episode hinted at and what i have been waiting for... i can't wait to see where they go from here

havent missed an episode yet and i love myself some on demand re-runs
Too fucking good. The finale tonight and the one before have been just A+ television.
- watching the encore right now. Seriously, this was the best first season of any show I've ever seen.
7 episodes constitute a WHOLE SEASON?!that sucks! when i hear season i am thinking year, 1/2 yr, 1/3 yr... but not even 1/4 of a year? not even TWO COMPLETE MONTHS!?
i only care because i love you breaking bad.....

yeah, kind of an overseas version of a season.
this show is good and any way of seeing more of "the closer" actors on tv is good for me.

"That's the most gangster punk rock shit out there."- Z-Trip showing his love for Paul Tollett
also, did anyone else appreciate the new Gnarls Barkley song showcased in the finale?
