My friend and I arrive at PS airport around 1:30 pm on Thursday and have rented a car. We plan on stopping to get supplies and then heading out to the site. If anyone needs a ride and is willing to chip in, let me know.

Offering my services for a small fee(whatever is fair for you) We have room for 2, coming from LA Thursday morning around 10am. PM me only, I wont be checking back here. Cannabis friendly, please.
Jimmy! What's up dude! You gave me and my girlfriend a ride to our hotel last year and then picked us up again the next morning for a ride to the festival (at least I think this is you?) I think I'm renting a car this year, but am not sure. If not, are you still giving rides at 10:30 on Thursday to the camp ground?
To everyone else: This guy is solid! If anyone needs a ride, get with this guy.
what up amigo!? it IS me (byron) and if memory serves me you are david and your girlfriend is chas right? if you don't rent a car then PM with details like if that 10:30 is a.m. or p.m. so i can hook you guys up w/another ride! either way i hope to run into you at the festival

Yeah, you remember right. Awesome. We were talking about you the other day, saying how we were going to get on the board and give you some recommendations. I hope you get some business this year.
If anyone is considering getting a ride. This guy is the guy to talk to. He has a "100% No Monkey Business Guarantee". Unless you like monkey business, but then it costs $30 a person.
'Sup JCC:
I'm flying in all the way from Georgia and in need of your services. Flight gets in Wed. evening so I'm good to go whenever Thur. if you still got the time/space.

jimmycrackcorn, this is very cool of you! If I end up getting the whole day off on Thursday, I have a little Ford Ranger and an empty bed. (Wait, let me get my foot out of my mouth...) I'll check in on this thread and let you know if I, or Suffacated can help you...We live really close to the festival and are camping, so we'd be right there to packup with everyone else on Monday...Maybe then you'll really need help!![]()

Hello Jimmy,
It seems like you are the man with the best ride information. I am staying at the Royal Sun Inn in Palm Springs, flying in from Phoenix on Thursday. Are you, or do you know of anyone from this thread offering a ride to and from for all three days of the festival?
Any info would be highly appreciated, take care!

unfortunately i do not know anybody offering a ride to and from palm springs for a 3 days... i am already committed to ridesharing with some people who i am comfortable with during the festival... i was just trying to help people out by offering a cheap alternative to taxis + subsidize my own coachella adventure by offering rides on thursday & monday... my advice is to do exactly what you ARE doing by trying to secure a ride early on this message board... there is limited public transportation here in the valley and this is a link to the website http://www.sunline.org/home/index.asp but you will only be able to get a ONE WAY RIDE!! the buses stop running waayyyyy before the festival ends each night... you can get from palm springs to indio for like $2 on the bus, it'll take like an hour and a 1/2, + you'll have to walk a couple miles from hwy 111 & monroe to the polo grounds... then on the way back you'll either have to find yourself a ride or get yourself a taxi (F@#$ING EXPENSIVE!).... i don't know what other advice or info i can offer
-shrugs-
maybe you could commit yourself to renting a car and YOU be the guy offering rides all 3 days from palm springs and just recoup the costs by charging a nominal fee for a service that you KNOW there is a demand for? well whatever you decide i'm glad that you are coming to coachella, good luck, and maybe i'll see you around

JCC, I'm on the fence as far as renting a car or trying to find a ride with someone. I get into PSP at 9:30 pm on Thurs. I know that this is late and it would just be me (Chas isn't coming this year. job.) I'll offer you $30 for a ride. I know that it is late, and you'll probably want to be partying by then, but I figured I put it out there. Let me know what you think. If you want to pass, I'd understand.
