spin gives out so many free subscriptions i wonder how they keep a business. I've had Spin since middle school and maybe paid for it twice
Then I will hold you down and spit her percolations all over you until you're as greasy as the day she regrets pushing your big fat ass out her big fat cunt.

I gave away the subscription I got from going to Vegoose. All it's gonna do is collect dust, clutter my apartment, and be something else I've gotta recycle.

So Chris, the next time someone starts a duplicate thread but at least has the courtesy to include a cool pic that is missing from the original thread on the topic, you'll bite your tongue?

advertising. they probably make enough money off advertising to give away the magazine for free and still make profit. a lot of time they give away free subscriptions so they can say their circulation is larger, and charge advertisers more.

but yeah suprefan got suprefan'd. lulz

I am really tempted to do this. It is not much of an investment. The lineup's always have a few really good bands. I've always wanted to visit New Orleans. Hmmm.

Line-up is announced on the Eve of St. John. After much googling, I think I've determined that this is June 23rd. I ordered my tix already. I was at the first one. Might as well hit the 10th anniversary one also, especially at that price.

Why is everything in New Orleans based on Roman Catholicism? What's wrong with just giving people the dates things happen?

Well, last year they were selling tickets for $85 just after announcing the lineup, but they sold out in 1-2 days. Then tickets were $100.

For all the people thinking about attending Voodoo it is worth it. As a person who went last year it was awsome. The crowd was average but packed at sometimes but if you wanted to you can walk away from the main stages and still hear good local music in the smaller tents. New Orleans is the perfect host for Voodoo. The in and out pass is the way to go the street car is within walking distance to get back downtown with enought time at night to enjoy a long night on Burbon. The people at Voodoo make the experence enjoyable. I was thier for three days and didnt not see any fights. The ocassional smell of weed during rage and smashing pumpkins was not to bad. As a local of New Orleans i dont know why the hell they say the release date is the eve of St. John. They should just say the dam date like every othe normal person would.

So, the end of June this is usually anounced? I wonder if Voodoo and Vegoose are going to try to get their line ups out early this year, considering that seems to be what every festival is doing this year.

I went last year and if I can swing the airfare and hotel stay, I will do it again! It was totally worth it. Last year's lineup was incredible - Wilco, BRMC (god, why aren't THEY playing Coachella!) Rage, Spoon. . . I could go on and on. The only disappointment was the Pumpkins - there were people booing and heckling them where we were standing. I heard, more than once, people saying "give Billy his check and send him home."

Rage was even better at VooDoo than they were at Coachella (went to that festival, too). The only drawback is that Vegoose is usually scheduled for the same weekend as VooDoo and since I am from AZ, it is cheaper and easier for me to get to Vegas than it is NOLA. However, last year's VooDoo was truly, uhm, for lack of better word, magical. Hearing Rage so ANGRY about the injustice the local housing authority is wielding over the people of New Orleans, hearing Wilco banter with the audience, watching BRMC fans unite - it was something I want to experience again. Plus, the locals really are grateful for the tourism dollars and I have never been treated so kindly as a "tourist."
