I had this exact same thing happen to me for last years Rock The Bells fest... I called and waited on hold for about 30 minutes, then was transfered to another operator who put me on hold for another 20 mins.. after all the waiting i was able to have them send me replacements and I know of other people who have had replacements so I know they can do it, but they're just being assholes.
Well there really is no problem....the address was incorrect so call your credit card and have them cancel the transaction. I think TM was obliged to check the given address with your billing address-I know they have cancelled an order for me because my address was listed as 12 and not 13. So they f#####d!
If that failed just file a small claims lawsuit with your local courthouse, that will stir them.
Try calling your bank and explain what happend with your credit card, they should be able to get your money back, and don't forget to report ticketmaster to the Better Business Bureau.
UGHHHHH THEY PLACED ME IN WILL CALL.
They said that's all they could do.
PF, pleassseeee tell me that will call won't be like last year...
If it's like last year, you'll probably end with free tickets or something for next year. Look it on the good side, perhaps many international goers will pose for your polaroid while in line.
Isn't the box office going to be open on Thursday this year? That would help if it happens.
10/16 Massive Attack @ Greek Theater (?), 10/18 Culture Collide, 10/26 Asobi Seksu & Slowdive @ Royale, 11/7 Warpaint @ Echoplex, 11/12 Blonde Redhead @ Fonda
I would definitely not consider coachella will call as an option... never again
Ok, that's good to know...
I think I'm getting there around...oh god.....I dunno. 3pm on Thursday?
im down do burn these motherfuckers to the ground.
all in for massive bonfire of the ticketmaster headquarters, say "aye"
I say we work up to that by starting at the closest outlet. Either way, AYE!!!!!!
this seems like as good a thread as any.
ticketbastard has some fancy new seat picking system. I happened to notice it looking up the seat map for Tool's upcoming show in Reno:
you can see each and every seat. this show is sold out but it looks like it would show exactly which seats are available and let you pick rather than randomly assigning them to you.
and... if you're connected on facebook, you can show people where you are sitting. and see who is sitting elsewhere. creepy.
it will be interesting to see how this affects our mad dashes for tickets during on-sales.
They're been using this for Livenation shows for quite a while now, as well as other outlets. I've used it for quite a few shows. It's not an option during initial hours of really popular sales though.
