Everytime I mention that I can't really get into Gogol Bordello or that I don't care much for their recorded stuff I always get the usual "You have to see them live" replies, but I really have no desire to see them live whatsoever. I should at least maybe try to catch them at Coach this year if I have the opportunity.

Daft Punk
ThomThom, I thought the same way. I heard some of their recorded stuff, and didn't think too much of it. However, I checked out a few clips of them live, and I was speechless. They are freakin insane live. Like, out of control crazy must see. I will definitely be seeing them this year, and you should too. If you don't like them, then you can truly say you don't like them.
but, you should always check out a band when they are at their best - and in this case, GB is at their best when seen live.
M.I.A. I cannot stand her. She is seriously the worst thing to ever happen to music.
Hot Chip. Fuck them. They are not very good at all.
The Streets. "Hi! I have a British accent and I am raping. Aren't I sooooooo indie!?"
Bands don't become as renowned and critically acclaimed as Radiohead by making crappy music. I'm sure the greater majority of people on this planet would agree with me.
I guess it's just a matter of opinion as far as Sigur Ros goes, but I really do think their music is beautiful. Nobody makes stuff like that as consistently as they do. Plus, they're more innovative than most bands out there. Also, if we're talking numbers- you're the minority again.
