I love david bowie, but I think his time doing live performances have really passed. I saw the video of the Isle of Wight Festival on MTV HD not long ago and I was really disappointed and bored by bowie because he was so stiff. I mean hes an old guy now at the age of 61 so he doesn't move or perform like he used to. He still has great vocals, but he has a weak heart. I think it would be awesome if he did play, but I wouldn't expect the great performance that everyone is hoping for. Think of bands like depeche mode that still play live and kinda of lack the stage presence the once did.

I don't know about that. Until Waters tour last year, the previous one I went to was in 1987. Great show BTW, Expo Theatre in Vancouver, seated 1500. Still in my top 5.

Bowie is one of my HEROES and it would be amazing! Seen him years past, even in the Tin Machine incarnation, But I really don't know how the Bowie thinking for this years Coachella got started, LOL, I remember last year when some DJ on Indie said that the Police were scheduled to play, the closest we got to hearing the police was in the techno tent, I think it was Beni Benassi who was using samples of 'King Of Pain', it was soooo good, anyone else hear that one ..."there's a little black spot on the sun today"
