I use azureus as well, the last time I let someone I met off a forum use my dime account they changed the password on me, essentially stealing my account. (Not like I wouldnt have let them use it after) Took a bit of waiting to get another account, those of you familiar with dime will know what im talking about, sigh some people are so ridiculously stupid.

You probably just need to open up a port that forwards the torrent traffict to your computer.

yea i used to use bitcomet too and it kind of sucked.
the previous version of utorrent also was not very strong but it has improved dramatically.
also worthy of noting, bitcomet is banned by OiNK.

Okay so I use uTorrent now. But my upload speeds are really really slow. Adam suggested checking my port, which I did, and it said there was an issue. My firewall is allowing the program to run, so Adam suggested it might be the school firewall or something. Any idea on how to fix this problem?

I think you need a good friend that works in your school's IT networking department. Apart from that, you're probably screwed. But I don't know what I'm talking about. Your school doesn't want you to be snagging mp3s on their network. Pull yourself up by your bootstraps and stop taking advantage of the system, Andrew.
