Why do people keep claiming he's been touring Dark Side Of The Moon forever? He did it last year. That's it.

"forever" is obviously an exaggeration.

I know exactly when he was in my area last year...mid June. So by the time Coachella rolls around, it'll at LEAST have been 10 1/2 months. Probably much longer. Point is, a lot of big names kick off their tour at Coachella, not end it.

EDIT...This tour started in June 2006. The show I almost went to was one of the last. Sorry, that's forfuckingever in tour terms.

Oh and the Pink Floyd rumors are downright silly.Roger Waters has a complete band that has rehearsed and toured this "Darkside" show for over a year.Is he going to tell them they are all fired,so he can join his good buddy Gilmour for a non-charity,non-televised festival? And solo,I'm sure he takes the lion's share of the fee he is paid,plus the merch,but with Floyd it'd be split at least down the middle with Gilmour.So he would lose money doing Coachella,and even though he was a hippie,he wasn't that much of a hippie.

stp was never really a headliner. they headline the family values tour a while ago and it did poorly. they are a perfect sub-headline type of band. i put them, godsmack, rob zombie and distrubed as certain bands that i dont think are that great as headliners but perfect as a sub headliner

I could see a situation where we wind up with dual headliners on Friday and Saturday, with Waters getting a longer set Sunday. Especially since 3-Day pass sales appear to have slowed down.

Picture this...JJ & STP headlineing Friday...Kraftwerk gets bumped up to coheadliner with Portishead and someone else goes on the second line (coughpjharveycough).

Kraftwerk already looks like a headliner on the new consolidated poster anyway.
