New Additions Early Next Week

Most people know who david gilmour is, but might not recognize him. That's the key distinction, and the potential problem with having the rest of Floyd come out unannounced. I certainly know Pink Floyd very well, but until recently, I don't think I would've even recognized a picture of Roger Waters. Definitely not Gilmour. I want to know it's the full floyd, so I don't spend the show wondering if that is in fact Gilmour.

And ps, Floyd ain't reuniting.

There is no specific dates as to when additions will be anouced.

I am sure there will be SOME additions to the line up. However, how big they are and when they are added... no one knows.

Metallica should play only if they're not allowed to play anything written after 1989. And even then they shouldn't be anywhere near Coachella.

I could see a situation where we wind up with dual headliners on Friday and Saturday, with Waters getting a longer set Sunday. Especially since 3-Day pass sales appear to have slowed down.

Picture this...JJ & STP headlineing Friday...Kraftwerk gets bumped up to coheadliner with Portishead and someone else goes on the second line (coughpjharveycough).

Kraftwerk already looks like a headliner on the new consolidated poster anyway.

The Stone Temple Pilots aren't anything special. For me, they'll just be taking up a spot that a better band could be playing.

If Metallica plays my head will explode and I'll immediately sell my tickets. They just don't belong at Coachella and are some of the biggest red-neck, untalented sell-outs ever.
