where are they playing in august?
Damn, Gnarls Barkley playing the Hollywood Bowl?
Plus they will add more.
Remember how awesome the world music night last year was hosted Jason Bentley featuring Underworld.
They will add more!
Besides Radiohead is going to be a leased event not a regular season event.
Nokia.
For your health
It looks like the Hollywood Bowl doesn't do Monday shows, so it would be Wednesday, August 6th or Tuesday August 25th.

Bjork doing Biophilia, 6/2 Hollywood Palladium, Los Angeles, CA

Well if you did some research you will see that Radiohead has played the bowl on a Monday. Monday August 20th 2001 to be exact. I would know, I was there. Radiohead is doing All Points West the weekend of August 8 - 10, so how does that work in their plans? They are doing 2 nights in L.A. NOT ONE.
OWNED....
YES! Gnarls Barkley tour this summer
I still really hope they play Sasquatch... I doubt it... but it would be awesome.
Also, Sharon Jones at the Hollywood bowl? I guess they are anticipating she is going to get a lot bigger after Coachella eh?
Gilberto Gil/Devendra Banhart! Jealous!
my mom and step dad have a box for the summer jazz series. i am usually able to weasel my way into a free show or two. saw b.b. king last summer. can't wait for this year.

not yet!
Gilberto Gil/Devendra Banhart, Wynton Marsalis, Sharon Jones, Gnarls Barkley, Etta James, and Jamie Cullum are all shows I would like to see. Unfortunately, I am in the Bay Area for all these shows. I will probably have to come down to a few. Like Sharon Jones.
I remember a Mad TV skit of Stevie Nicks running a mexican restaurant. She would start serving people food then face the camera while a big wind machine blew at her while she sang about the plates of food being served. She would do that funkly arm thing with her scarves.
Her name always reminds me of that skit.
Whiskey Sour
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1 cherry
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
Free will.
