Why do you think it'll be an acoustic performance? I'm hoping that they play at the main stage with the full band at sunset, that would be awesome.

Spiritualized Acoustic Mainlines will be playing the Coachella Festival over the weekend of April 25th-27th. There may be one or two other dates in California at that time but they are not confirmed as yet.

A more extensive Electric Mainlines tour will take place in July / August following the release of the new album.

Electric Mainlines tour will begin in May.

On the main page, it describes Acoustic mainlines as:

Performing the music of Spiritualized, Spacemen 3 and others. Accompanied by strings and gospel singers.

But it has old dates up, so I don't know if that will remain the same for this year's Acoustic mainlines shows. Also, I wish their site didn't suggest they were playing Saturday unless they are in fact. They could afford to update and clear some confusion.

I heard Spiritualized changed thier dates... AGAIN. Instead of giving a specific date, it said they will be playing at Coachella 2008 the weekend of April 25-27. No specific date. Im betting Spiritualized, for some reason or another, want to get moved to another day... but GV aren't letting them. Or something like that.

On Jan 22nd, they posted something that didn't specify a day.

On Jan 25th, they said they had moved to the 26th (Saturday).

Their Myspace was logged into today and says the 26th.

So yeah, it's probably moving. But there's a reason the poster hasn't been changed. In fact, the poster HAS been changed since Spiritualized claimed they were on Saturday. As far as I'm concerned, until it's posted here, it's not official.
