I just realized that I have no Squarepusher in my collection. How depressing. I must collect!
i have all his albums in cd but still need a few singles and lps. my aphex collection does lack a lot of material, though. it's not easy to get those oop records. the last ab5 copy i saw in ebay went for $1000. no way i'm paying that. i bided $700 only because i knew i would be outbided, though.
I'm almost 100% positive someone has done the Orb in the young'uns guide. Also, if you like the Orb, check out Nightmares on Wax (and yes, I'm whoring out my own guide to NOW in the young'uns guide).
Also, at Best Buy yesterday, I decided to pick up this chill music compilation disc, 2 CDs worth with stuff by bands I know (Supreme Beings of Leisure, Nightmares on Wax, Conjure One), bands I've heard of (Chicane, Weekend Players), and bands I've never heard of (Energy 52, L.S.G., The Thrillseekers, Push, Irresistable Force, Bent, Solar Stone, Accadia, B-Tribe, Dutch Force, etc.). I'll let you guys know if anything I find on there is good.
The one thing was that I was HOPING to use the tracks for radio play, unfortunately (but not really for regular listening) is that the tracks are mixed together like a fucking trance mixtape.
What this means is that, even though there are separate tracks, I'd kinda have to let it skip onto the next track for the song to REALLY finish.
anymore have an album to send? I want moarrrr

so I love Burial, and want to get into more Dubstep.... where should I start? Can anyone refer me to some sweet artists of the genre? Or even better, upload me an album or two?
Did anyone go to this on Sunday?
IT was so epic!
Tycho is the best.
Anyone ever check out Lusine ICL? He is awesome! Just started getting into his work.
This is by no means his best song, but it gives you an idea of his sound.

For your health
welcome back Rocke and cheers to your new marriage! I bet you had a great soundtrack for the Island in play.
Can someone tell me why no one has ever linked this website? It's phenomenal:
Also, the new Thievery Corp is amazing. Get it.
Eh, it's a hell of a lot better than Versions or the Cosmic Game, my friend. RR represents a real return to form for T. Corp.
For the most part the chill comp is just sorta there. It was a while ago when I listened to it, and I've been really busy with getting a lot of new music recently, so I have to go back and re-listen to it to give you an answer.
Either way, this new album is awesome and so is Thievery.
as long as Perry F. is not singing on it it should be good...
