My good friend, (the lovely eNVyartist) and I will be arriving into town around 9-10p Thurs. the 24th, and obviously we're staying here.

If any one of our fellow neighbors is down, we'd most definitely be cool with hanging out to down a few. I'll be stocking up the room to the gills and planning many an after-hour party during the weekend.

The resort used to have tubes to rent, so you probably don't need to bring them. I am all about the after parties -we were planning on hosting a few ourselves, maybe some room-hopping is in order? We are coming in on Thurs night, with some tunes, a Wii and lotsa booze. Viva Coachella!

we just purchased 3 days in a 2 bedroom at the worldmark for 575.00 on ebay. happy to find something for such a reasonable price.

i have a fri, sat reservation for a room with two doubles at embassy suites if anyone wants it. i'm not sure how it all works, but i had to reserve with a credit card. it's 580. for two nights i believe.

Yup, I'm staying there too. I'm excited cause it's not too far from the Polo Grounds; not walking distance but still close. The first year I went to Coachella, I stayed in Palm Springs, cause I thought it was close. But it's a 20+ minute drive plus with traffic it took over an hour to get there that year. The following year I stayed in Coachella, not to far from the Polo Fields but it was a gross motel.

I'm looking forward to using the pool, cause it can get warm down there this time of year.

btw. if anyone's interested, I have an extra room with twin beds that I'm renting out.

Lets get this a little organized. Everyone staying at the resort that wants to play host to or attend any sort of pre or post Coachella parties, lets all meet somewhere at the resort on Friday night after Coachella (April 25th). I can't be there Thursday unfortunately due to expenses and financial limitations.

So someone familiar with the property should come up with a good meeting place and time (in the PM after Coachella on Friday the 25th). I know I want to chill with you all, so I'll be there...whenever and where we decide.

sorry it has taken me so long to respond! We do, indeed have bowling, so it is on! We know the property well, we should pick a time and meet at the covered area by the main pool. We are up for hosting, but we need maybe two or three more rooms to host as well, to sorta share the expense of booze, etc. I will gladly be ring leader -pm me some how to contact u (txt MSG, whatever) and I will start getting stuff in order! I think this is where we're staying this year. Some questions for the heads that have stayed there in the past:

Does the 2 bedroom condo have a balcony/patio? If so, how large is it? Is there some kind of barbeque grill?

Would you say the 2 bedroom condo is roomy enough for 7 people? And two bathrooms, right?

ok, some answers. Yes, the two bedroom has a balcony and each unit has a grill. The balcony is pretty good size, but there is a large round table and chairs that takes up most of it. 7 is all u can hold, and it will be tight unless three of you share the king in the master....do I hear threesome, anyone? I kid, I kid... Your config should look something like this 2 in master, 2 in bedroom 2, 2 on pull out in living room and 1 on the couch. There are two potties and a full kitchen. The property grounds also sport some grill areas that rock. Hope that helps! We are planning a wii tourney, so u should definitely join!

There is a total of 11 of us (2 rooms).

We'll probably be bringing out some cd decks and a few of us are club djs.

So maybe we can do something for an after party.

If this is true, has anyone gone ahead and smoked anyway? I will be wanting to smoke some joints or a bong even in my room. So is this a problem?
