But I really hope they play at Coachella. That'd be a great great addition to the lineup.

The fact that they're playing LA just three weeks before the festival makes it pretty unlikely they'll be there.

yea I thought that also BUT how much often does Autechre play in the US...they are pulling a new album in march, touring in April in US, it would be so dumb and so ignorant not to at least invite Autechre one of electronica best artists if they are in this land near the dates of Coachella, they can just add another gigs, play in Mexico later, so that they can play april 25, 26 or 27 in Coachella, they have to play Coachella... this year Coachella lacks of electronica acts, Autechre is the future of electronica and music... it has always been, let them play damn it, who the f#@k wants to see sasha and digweed anyways??? certainly not me...

its very possible....they played here in miami with two days notice a few years ago.....and they are playing L.A. three weeks before. we'll see.

I don't think they'll be at Coachella, as others said, they're playing LA only a couple of weeks before the festival. Looking forward to their SF show though!

To do Coachella you gotta sign a contract that says you won't do any LA area shows for the 2 months prior to the show... and something about shows after. I think you just can't announce any May shows until after Coachella.

No way. The last time Autechre played coachella, there were twenty people MAX in the tent. I was one of them.

yea definitively I'm goin to the echoplex, I think is going to be better... at coachella it would be great they perform but if they do it would be a short 30 minute set for a live act such autechre, our brains are going to be asking for more you know and also all the other acts would be shitty after hearing the incredible unimaginable set of autechre, so better to hear them play at their own gig.

I'm gonna chalk this statement up to hyperbole, otherwise I would have to ask you to elaborate on the very ambiguous proposition that autechre is indeed the future of music.
