I don't really think Kraftwerk is all about their status or them being pioneers. I can honestly say I love Kraftwerk and they are one of my favorite groups. Their songs are just awesome..
OUTKAST 2014
Röyksopp, FC Kahuna, Télépopmusik, The Knife, RJD2, Futue Sound of London, The Avalanches, 808 State, Zero 7, Tycho, Mr. Scruff
this just got me in the mood. I'm so fucking ready for this.
what?
Kraftwerk hit the scene about 1977 i think......At the time there was no techno, computer, electronic type band...
You had rock and funk on white and black stations...
Blacks in the u.s. is what got kraftwerk rolling.blacks brought majority of kraftwerks music in the u.s. in those days
But after kraftwerk hit..You seemed to get many copycats in their sound..And before u knew it many artist sounded like kraftwerk with their own twist...Etc
Now think 1977... if you can, think now how far electronic has come....Even rap uses the pops cracks etc from what kraftwerk started..........
anyways.they are a groundbreaking band that has made many copycats very rich and electronic very successful..
KRAFTWERK try --numbers(MANY COPY CATS TO THIS SOUND) computer love, telephone call, musique non stop, the MODEL,radio activity.. some of my favorites...
anyways many black bands followed first.. africa bambaataa with planet rock, which kraftwerk did sue and won their case.
other early 80's bands using kraftwerks style
Cybotron- Clear
Twilight 22 - Electric Kingdom
ZAPP-MORE BOUNCE TO THE OUNCE,dance floor
africa bambaataa-panet rock, loking for the perfect beat
c-bank= one more shot
Newcleus - Jam on it,computer age
Planet Patrol - Play At Your Own
freestyle
Now alot of these bans are underground black or maybe some played on radio..Mostly CLUB FLOOR JAMMERS but music business as always catch wind of popularity and start making their watered down versions of it so all of the masses can get it as in early 80's radio hits like
shannon-give me tonight, let the music play
stevie b-party your body,spring love
Nocera "Sumertime Summertime"
Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam-Can You Feel The Beat
INFORMATION SOCIETY - RUNNING
cant remember them all
But when u come down to it..id SAY KRAFTWERK copy cats..
the sounds of 77 was like what??? elton john..big rock bands etc.. black radio was mostly FUNK ...
So if you dont get them..everyone else has and copied the pops kracks, vocies etc.
NOW electronic isall over the place and not just in black bands, black radio(following kraftwerk)....
anyways just my opinion and I lived through it so i know...
MORE POWER TO KRAFTWERK
and any mis-spelled words phrases cant not be used against me in a court of law.. but maybe court of stupidity..lol

They were having coffee and decided to invent electronic music. That's how I heard it, anyway.
um....Kraftwerk has been around alot longer then 1977...they released their 1st album in 1970...and they hit their "sound" in 74 with Autobahn...which put them on the map and influenced EVERYONE....1977 was when they released Trans Europe Express...one of the most underrated albums ever....
underrated? as far as I know, that album has a TON of critical acclaim - and of course, all of it is well deserved.
I know that when (i believe it was Rolling Stone) did their 500 greatest albums of all time, TEE was the only album that made the list that wasnt by an American or English band/artist.
I give you that they came out earlier. But they really didnt hit in the states till about 77,78,79.Well maybe i just didnt hear them
Anyways i have more pressing ..................issues??

Hhmmmmmm. I DO see alot of KRAFTWERK influence here.
Never heard of this band. But i will hold judgement and Have to take an ear them before i state opinion on them.. Hope they are not a Cover Band?
now i see autobahn...But they name of the band is??
Nagelbett?
Pagelbett?
Anyways ill find it
I have NEVER seen KRAFTWERK....NEVER,Nunca,Jamais,Nie,non mai,Nooit,nunca,никогда,aldri,永不,決してでない,.......... ..I think i got 90% of ya,The other 10 im sorry.
I have bought 4 - 3 day passes two years in a roll 96 and 97....
I looked at the line-up and said theres only two bands i wanna see.And that is KRAFTWERK and BOOKA SHADE.. They are on Two Different nights also.
So i didnt see the reasoning another 4- 3 days passes for one band on two different days???
BUT....Man, since the days of the concert is getting Closer.I Am starting to get the feeling of i should have brought at least one of the days...Sat or sunday..And i so badly would like to see kraftwerk.....Ok OK i know they dont move much, But Oh SO INFLUENTIAL.....Id like to hear a few songs.....And then BOOKA SHADE on sunday night... IM getting CONFUSED.....Income tax check in bank in a cpl more days..........The Lines are starting to blur.....I could have credit card it like i did one year and pay it back.
I know i should not be buying any tickets.....UNLESS They really do this BAND ADDITION...I wish they'd add like they did in 96. I know they added kyne, common and madonna...Ok dont have to be these bands but something of the magnitude maybe???
Then that would make my reasoning sound in buying tickets right???
but either or
KRAFTWERK ....one night in coachella???
Decisions Decisions
