Whats with the poster?

How come the new poster is not split up into days it just lists all the artists but not performing on specific days? Anybody else get that on their browser? ps sorry if this was posted already... i tried to do a search...

what the hell is going on here? I havent purchased my tickets yet, since i was waiting to get paid before i do it, but did people actually buy single day tickets? And if so, are they going to get refunds if the lineup changes and let's say portishead gets moved to Friday????

What do people think is happening? I think there are two possibilities:

1) There is some huge act that they are bumping jack johnson for (it obviously doesnt have to be THAT huge) and moving portishead to friday - that means that people who bought single days are screwed and GV needed to stop selling tickets before the problem got worse.

2) This is like the second greatest marketing idea ever (second to DeBeers diamond campaign, i swear) - this is somewhat diabolical, but maybe they are doing this literally to stir the shit - to get people excited about the possibility of some additions. I really hope we havent stooped to that.

Then I'm an idiot.

When I first saw the line-up, it looked like Sunday was the strongest day. But never in what I can remember (Definitely not when Coachella was just two days) have they done this much moving around with the line-up.

And I've never seen them have to revert to a big poster with all the acts not divided into days.

I especially felt I only needed to go to Sunday with acts like Les Savy Fav, Man Man, The Streets, The Field... of course Roger Waters.

But now LSF & Man Man are out, and the band I decided to check out first was Spiritualized... and now people are saying they are on Saturday.

Unless they seriously just hate everybody that bought single day tickets on Sunday and are sitting around this weekend laughing at all of the suckers that bough single-day tickets to Sunday, they need to make a significant change to Sunday - not Friday.

I say change the "Morning Jacket" to "Bloody Valentine" and then i'll happily put my foot in my mouth.

That way I can sell my extra Sunday ticket on ebay to at least financially reimburse my dissapointment.

even though many of the speculations may be true, when we did the nor cal street marketing in 02 we have three different flyer versions to pass out and they were all different in layout.

Sure am glad I decided to go with the 3-day pass cause its obvious nothing is set in stone now. Madness is gone on friday and Kate Nash was added on saturday. Has anyone managed to get single day tickets or have they been not available since friday. I definetley think GV has something going on with the lineup and they dont want to piss people off. Kinda excited to see what happens cause no matter what Im in!.....
