It was $60 a day or something like that in 1999 (I think). It was very cool, NO CROWDS and amazing bands. Even though Coachella may have jumped the shark a bit in 2004, its still very cool, albeit CRAMPED when you compare it to that first year or two, or three.

It's sad to say, but this is only my second. I have been wanting to go for the 3 years before last year but I never could get the time off of work. I work weekends, and I could never save my vacation time from aug. Now that I have gone, I don't care if I don't have the time to cover it, I'm going. If I can't get the day off, then I am calling in sick.
