Not as it sounds, this latest Jason Pierce centred show is far from a simple acoustic incarnation of Spiritualized. on their site, there is just a couple of lines, but it did say "coachella/mainlines" you sort of have to register just to use the site ... grrrrr ... canx**

Spiritualized Acoustic Mainlines will be playing the Coachella Festival over the weekend of April 25th-27th. There may be one or two other dates in California at that time but they are not confirmed as yet.

A more extensive Electric Mainlines tour will take place in July / August following the release of the new album.

I definitely feel that Spiritualized is probably one of the most under-recognized bands on the planet (possibly underrated as well) and I can't wait to see them. Thanks for the setlist, Bmack.

I listened to several songs on a best of collection <?> (can't remember the name Rock and Roll part 1?), and I was not impressed.

However, I like their song "Run", and I like the youtubed songs on the board ("ladies & gentlemen..." and the one where the guy is wearing an orange prison suit). I'm still kind of at the "meh" stage. Gospel choirs with white-boy bands don't really sound too awesome to me. Clashy, more-like.

The only Spiritualized album I have is Ladies and Gentlemen...and also Taking Drugs...and Perfect prescription by Spacemen 3...what other Spiritualized albums do you recommend? Because I love them, but don't know nearly enough of their material.
