Uh, what's the point of this thread, exactly? I don't see what the difference between a "bands I want to see" thread and a "bands I want to see who I've known about for more than a week" thread is.

And what's unrealistic about wanting to see bands you just found out about? There are only 20ish bands over all three days that I hadn't already heard prior to the lineup announcement, am I not allowed to say that I'd like to see some of those bands?

I have enjoyed the performances of: Minus the bear haven't heard the new album yet, hot chip, roger waters(although if theres an artist I slightly want to see at the same time will watch them instead), metric and based on the albums I have heard want to check out the streets, justice(only caught tale end last year), breeders, aesop rock, (out of your list) I didn't like death cab live, but havent heard any of their albums so that may affect it........

Sorry I know your post is actually different than the other ones, and I guess I misinterpreted your "from day one" to being a fan or something before the group was popular, and you meant before the lineup.... I thought you were being snooty, and I appologize.
