Where are this years buzz bands?

where are this years Andrew Bird, Peter Bjorn and John, Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, Jose Gonzalez, the Good the Bad and the Queen? Those are bands who were buzzing at the time who were fresh young acts. This year its mostly bands I've seen before or have no desire to see. On the electronic side there is definitely a slew of that but I want to see an equal amount of that with hip hop and indie rock bands.. even the only hip hop act thats really a buzz right now is Dan Le Sac, the Streets are should have played last year or 2 years ago, same with other bands like Datarock, Aesop Rock and quite a few others.. and what's with the return acts? I mean it will be good to see Spank Rock not going up against Rage but damn, where is all the fresh young talent out there.. Where is Feist at? I hate complaining but c'mon anyone else here agree?

i think the "buzz" starts right before Coachella usually. Or at least thats the way i remember it.

I remember when Amy Winehouse was on the bottom of that poster. No one here knew who she was. i listened to some tracks and thought "cool a nice soul singer" and by the time Coachella came around she was already big.

i imagine a few of the bands this year will start to get bigger as the festival rolls around
