You JUST did? And seriously, their live video don't even do them justice to how insane they are live. They are without a doubt, most definately a must see.
I seriously cannot stress this enough.

"urban hymns was" probably the album that transitioned me from "whats the story..." to "OK Computer" in 10th grade..... I really think the album is amazing, and think the verve are going to put on a great show.

This JJJ installment was one of my favorites. Much more downtempo then their set will be but still fucking great.

I do the same thing in preparation with Excel. I make a spreadsheet of must see groups, groups not interested in seeing, and need to research further before making a decision. I currently have 12 "must see", 21 for Saturday, and 19 for Sunday.
    Whiskey Sour

    2 oz blended whiskey
    Juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 tsp powdered sugar
    1 cherry
    1/2 slice lemon

Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

I just listened to The Teenagers for the first time and here are the lyrics from the first track of their new album "Reality Check". You be the judge.

    [male]
last week, i flew to san diego to see my auntie.
on day one, i met her hot step-daughter.
    she's a cheerleader, she's a virgin, and she's really tan.
as she stepped out of her massive car,
i could only notice she was more than fuckable.
i think she was coming back from the game or something,
'cause she was holding those silly pom-poms.

on day two, i fucked her, and it was wild.
    she's such a slut.

    [chorus]
    [male]
    i fucked my american cunt
    [female]
    i love my english romance
    [male]
it was dirty, a dream came true
just like i like it, she's got nice tits
    [female]
it was perfect, a dream came true
just like a song i've been wanting to

    [female]
    ok, listen girls:
i met the hottest guy ever.
basically, as i was stepping out of my suv,
i came face to face with my step-cousin or whatever, who cares?
anyway, he was wearing skinny jeans, had funky hair
and the cutest british accent ever.
straight away, i could tell he was rocker
from his sexy attitutde and the way he looked at me.
    mmmmmm, he is totally awesome.
    oh my god,
    i think i'm in love.

    [chorus]
    [male]
    i fucked my american cunt
    [female]
    i love my english romance
    [male]
it was dirty, a dream came true
just like i like it, she's got nice tits
    [female]
it was perfect, a dream came true
just like a song i've been wanting to

    [male]
it was so nice to meet you

    [female]
    the pleasure was all mine
    i do like you
come to cancun for spring break

    [male]
    i'll think about it
    it could be great

    [female]
and don't forget to send me a friend request

    [male]

Wow, just listened to the song. Definitely not a joke. Did Peaches write the lyrics?

Reading the lyrics don't give you the full effect. In the song the lyrics are spoken, not sung, and I can't tell if they are taking themselves serious or not. I will not be watching The Teenagers at coachella.

Yea reading lyrics and hearing them in the song are way different.

I definitely want to listen to the song. I'll check it out when I get home tonight. If anything just for a good laugh.

Here's one called "Starlett Johannson." They're so poppy and generic, and yet I listened to another song. 1st impressions: this one sounds almost exactly like the 1st one musically. I think I'll pass on The Teenagers this year.

I really dig the Teenagers and the Homecoming song. It's obviously two different genders outlook on a night of sex. I think it's only slightly bold and realistic depending on who you are. Plus, they have an awesome sound.

Hey Jennie, I like Tori Amos. Maybe we can go to Lillith Faire together.
