But, Coachella, I have to be frank with you and it's only because I love you. Don't you think you owe us all an explanation/apology/retribution for allowing Jack Johnson to headline Day One? I'll assume you were just making good on an old gambling debt, but let's be honest - Coachella is about celebrating musical achievements of the recent years past. you guys should all get together and plan your own festival.

you all realize they can only get bands to play that want to? they can't force a band to play and if a band is not touring at the time then there may not be much motivation to get together for one show. they can really only pick from a specific talent pool based on the above. ignorance abounds here.

recent years...like rage who hadn't played live for many years--when was their last album, the pixies more than a decade, daft punk had a decade off from playing in the states, etc. the list goes on...
