I am not going to complain about the line up. It isn't exactly what I want, but by no means is it weak. Just not enough for me to make the trek. Last year was my first year and I think my standards were set high because of last years line up.

I am not really understanding the complaining about the lineup on a board of people who are going to the festival. I mean I could understand if you bought your tickets during a presale and now you wish you had not done that, but that obviously didnt happen. You can complain all you want but they are not going to change the lineup only add more acts from now until the set times are released...just saying

Nope. Staying home.

First time ever too. This will be my 1st ever missed Coachella. Honestly, it sucks this year. And I'm not one to dismiss Coachella's lightly.

The bands that are good, aern't great and/or already have played in previous years with better headliners to make it worth the while and price. Bumping past years supporting bands up a notch isn't going to get me to come. I either need some new can't miss bands or else an incredible jaw dropping headliner or two. Or both preferably.

Last year with the JAMC and Happy Mondays was jaw dropping. Jack Johnson, not so much....

Honestly, that's the first Roger Waters video I've watched since the lineup dropped and I got a few chills watching it, thinking about hearing "Comfortably Numb" in the desert with "full production." Portishead will be phenomenal, too. No reason not to go, really.

What about Jack Johnson? I absolutely despise him, in the ranks of few bands that I despise (talking about the likes of Nickelback and Def Leppard), but still, one douche bag doesn't make or break a festival, that's why other acts are scheduled at the same time. Coachella hasn't sold out because of one guy. A bigger band likely fell through or will be added late, and even if one isn't added, I won't let JJ's presence affect my own at Coachella '08.
