Again, if you believe it......
Hmmm Sasquatch's lineup being announced on my birthday...
Premonition, anyone?
Waiting till the 25th is gonna suck. I hope they atleast release a partial line up sometime soon-ish.
I am seriously wondering who the day 3 headliner is gonna be. Is Sasquatch going to be able to pull in Radiohead? Or are they going to get Jack Johnson. Like everyone else this year?
I will be pissed if Jack Johnson headlines a day. I am pretty poor right now, so unless someone AMAZING is headlining Day 3, I will probably only go to the first 3 days.
Hmmm... who else besides Radiohead and Jack Johnson could headline? Maybe they will do something totally random and have Tool play.
if jack johnson was the third headliner for sasquatch i'd seriously start to consider off-ing myself.
RESPEK
I see Radiohead in our future. They'll surely be playing the Gorge on their tour anyway.
That is the only part. They said they will be playing only venues with easily accesible public transit. The Gorge definately doesn't fit that.
So, unless Radiohead play Sasquatch, I bet they wont be at the Gorge.
But seriously, Sasquatch must have something up their sleve if it isn't Radiohead. They know the festival market is getting quite competitive, and if they can grab another major headliner, then they will putting in a bid to become a major festival.
Somebody is predicting this ...

I'm predicting he is going to miss in one of these ... The Cure/Radiohead/R.E.M./Jack Johnson but then if he is exactly right, I might go if JJ is just sub-headlining (and also because of Magnetic Fields, 65daysofstatic, BSP, Nada Surf, Cat Power, Destroyer, Menomena ... but arrrgh I so fucking hate The Hold Steady).
I wonder if a major reason Jack Johnson is headlining both Coachella, Bonnaroo, All Points West, and is rumored to be headlining Sasquatch, is because his record label made it part of the deal in order for the festivals to get other acts they really wanted. With the record industry being in supposedly dire straits, Universal could want as close to a slam dunk multi-platinum smash as they could get, and what better way than to have one of its premiere artists headline multiple festivals across the country? There's upwards of 50,000 people a day at Coachella and something like, what, 80,000 people at Bonnaroo. That's a hell of a lot of exposure. Jack Johnson couldn't have been too expensive a get either, especially if he's playing at numerous fests. I mean, that has to take his asking price down because the market is being saturated with him, and as such he's not as big of a draw for each respective festival. So I'm sure that had something to do with it as well; getting a headliner cheap isn't something a businessperson is going to sneeze at, especially if that headliner's label is saying, "Okay, you can book all these other artists you want, but you've gotta have this one headlining." To me, it's the only logical explanation for why Jack Johnson is all over the place this year.
wow, 3 days for Sasquatch, Sat, Sunday, Monday? That sounds fuckin dumb...well, actually americans have the Monday off I guess? Canadians dont. If Radiohead are there, ill be there too... actually shit...i may not be. whatever, we'll see...
