ugh. saw the line up and got immensely excited for The Raconteurs to play (you know, jack white, brendan benson, jack lawrence, patrick keeler.) but then upon further investigation.... it's some random other band from australia.

never heard of them before... they could be quite good. and i'm still looking forward to three days of solid jams.

but bummer none the less.

I'd be fucking pissed if he's right, but he might be. If you look at "the real poster" it says "the" in small letters before all the other bands that use "the", but The Raconteurs. If he's right, Coachella just got worse.

Yes, because some little band from Australia that no one knows except them gets to be the 3rd band listed on the line-up. Of course it's Jack White's band.

It's the Raconteurs - Benson, Lawrence, Keeler, and White. I'm pretty sure someone just messed up when they put up the myspace links. The Australian Raconteurs were actually around first, that's why Jack White's band releases their albums as The Sabateurs in Australia. Another way I know is because when Pul Tollet announced the lineup earlier he said that they were releasing a new album this May. And Mr. Jack White's band is.
