No need to apologize. Just move on.
Good luck. I wish Eastchella had camping, so I could make it as well.
Yeah, no camping = me not going to Nuchella. Can't afford NY hotel rates.

With 2,935 posts, I think you're the fanboy here.
Enough with the sob stories. people not going to coachella do yourself a favor. click there. see ya next year<-----
Will there be public transit available from the festival to hotels in Jersey?

Go with me in NYChella / All Points West Festival. We will stay in my friends houses in NY/NJ/CT area. BYOB *j/k - have to ask my friends*
seriously, i was ready to go without seeing the lineup, just assuming it was gonna rock. where did the money go this year? throw in the white stripes and radiohead or my bloody valentine or something and i'd see a heavy lineup, but are these really big names? shit. days 1 and 2 are pretty decent, but not worth a 14 hour drive
haha I'm not going this year either; I'm staying with my friend in NJ for the new east coast coachella-esque festival
The only way to go to Eastchella, for me, is splitting room with more people in some hotel. It's just about to school time, and I couldn't spend a lot of money booking a place by myself.
I knew I wouldn't be able to make it this year...75% of the lineup makes me feel a bit (!) better about it.
Coachella is all about being open to all kinds of music...I would have enjoyed myself no matter what.
I must agree, with all the speculation that bands like radiohead, nin, david bowie, prince, led zeppelin reunion might headline - this announcement is like getting punched in the gut. Jack Friggin Johnson- PLUEEEZ! While the mid-level bands look good...they are not worth the heightened price of admission nor all of the logistical work it takes to organize a trip to Indio, CA.
To all of you spending money on lodging, transportation, food, and tickets - I say thank you for doing your best to help curb our recession - but I, for one, would rather save my money. JMHO - Don't hate.
~Truly Disappointed.
^^ Yep. Fail.
Unfortunately, the headliners hold almost no sway with me (Roger Waters being the only slight exception), and I've seen a lot of the daytime bands over the course of last year. For me, not worth the price of getting out there, and I'm afraid that will be the general consensus amongst goers when looking at the last few years and the draw those lineups had for people from outside the Western United States.
Anyway, I'll be at Bonnaroo this year.
Have fun. See you douchebags later.
It's all about the lower echelon of bands and subheadliners, not the headliners. Quit bitching people. Being open too THIS YEAR'S Coachella will likely open your ears and mind to some wonderful new bands.

Unfortunately, it's looking very likely that I'm going to be selling my tickets. Basically, a lot of shit piled up on me schoolwise, to the point that I really can't afford to be away for even a weekend, especially considering that I only have three weeks of school left before finals. So this really kills me, but I have to be responsible.
I might try to go up for just Saturday, but three days is definitely out of the question.I was looking forward to meeting some of you, but I guess I'll see folks around at LA shows or next year.

Well, like I said, I'm going to see if I can make Saturday work, since there a lot of good bands on that day, but it's up in the air for now.
