How fast do the tickets sell out?

I went to Coachella 2006, but I got tickets as a gift, so I never have actually bought tickets. How fast did the 3 day passes sell out last year? I'm going to get them as soon as I can, but one of my friends is trying to raise money for it, and so far she has $20, hahaha. She can probably get some money but having a deadline or an idea of when they will sell out will be some good motivation.

In 2007 they sold out I believe halfway through February? I think last year was an anomaly because of Rage tho. In the past they've sold out in March/early April-ish (for 2 day passes). But we never know for sure obviously.

Yeah, it has. It's more and more popular.
When I got my tickets for last year, I believe it was mid February and there were still some after that. So don't stress out but don't be too laid back either haha.

2006 I went with only my best friend
2007 I went with my best friend plus two others
2008 I will go with my best friend plus two others and three more.

when the tickets go on sale they all go on sale, camping pass included.

2004 was the first coachella to sell out, which was early-mid april (according to a guy who was in my class and waited till the last second to get his tickets) and last year it sold out (sat and sun) within a week but tickets were later available on ebay due to rage doing more shows. any year i knew i was buying tickets i get them the day they go on sale. now that the lineup is going to be released i'm thinking tix will follow pretty closely thereafter. tell your friend there will be a way for her to get tickets if they do sellout right away. perhaps from 'ticket rick'. apparently that guy was really cool.

Last year 3-day passes sold out in 2 1/2 weeks I think because I waited a long time to buy them.
